I am quite taken with the Percival Provost as a sensible little training aircraft. The idea of putting the student and instructor side by side is excellent, and the fact that it can be done behind a radial engine even better.

The landing gear is also wisely-designed – a wide track and fixed legs. Sensibly-sized wheels and tyres.

But oh, that orange and white. I was taken by it at first but now long for the grey undercoat to go on. I shall seriously consider the possible paint after that.
