Relax. Not going all political on you here. But do you have better results with certain colours?
Not certain paints – that’s a different debate – I mean a certain hue within the paint range you use.
I rarely paint dark sea blue or coal black, but when I do, it is nearly always a success. I only ruined one Navy plane by over-coating the dark blue with too much gloss lacquer. Other than that, every 40’s and 50’s plane has turned out well.
As a contrast, I have struggled with yellows and reds. Eventually I can achieve a solid RCAF trainer yellow over a white base but it is a long and tedious job.
Even my pink tank was dodgy until the very end.
Is it me or is it you as well as me?
