I can get lucky…

My air compressor was acting up. Not able to keep pressure in the tank, it was kicking in to boost very 30 seconds. Very different from when I started with it.

I took my troubles to my local shop; Hobbytech in Myaree. The youngest chap on the staff was free so I put my problem to him – he instantly ran through a number of possibilities. Seals, connectors , hoses…

I went home with a plan, instituted the checks and procedures he recommended, and discovered it was one leaking hose. It was not evident to naked eye or ear, but investigation and deduction found it out.

Back to the shop. Two new hoses for a spend of under $ 25 AUD. The problem is now solved, and It tells me how valuable Hobbytech and that young chap are. I shall deal with them all the time now – they have proven their mettle.
