Hannover CL III A – Part One – Zwei Waisenkinder

Orphaned by the demise of a modeller.

And left in a sad state. partially-built, partially painted, and partially missing parts. The fortunate thing is that there is enough plastic between the two to recover the loss.

Paint removal first – with alcohol and Q-tip scrubbing for the fuselage and a soak in Easy Lift Off for the main struts and the crew. Some parts were damaged beyond repair – the tiny bombs stacked near the gunner had their tails broken off. They could be removed as excess anyway.

The basic assembly of fuselage and lower wing was well enough done as to require no disassembly. There would,be seam filling, but then this was two old Airfix kits – a baggie and a boxie.
