This Czech design became a standard trainer for the Warsaw Pact air forces in the 1950’s and 60’s and was exported to satellites and allies later.

The KP kit is of an age, but surprisingly good for that – little flash and no sink-marks. The wings are three-part but look accurate in spite of that. The clear canopy looks quite good. The decals look like…decals. definitely going to clear-coat this lot long before they hit water!

And as there is an unusual option for this build, I shall take it. I already have one plane in the odd air force so this will be a good companion.
