This old kit is a re-issue. It is from my youth – when I had hair and my first girlfriend and time to spare. I do not have them any more…but I can buy this kit for $ 39.00 and magically transport myself back to then. And I can correct old errors.

Errors? You should have seen some of the models I built then. Gloss paint, cement fingerprints, and seam lines the size of the Grand Canyon. I was young and did not possess the skill I do not possess now…

But I get a second chance. And if I screw it up, I can afford a third chance. I can’t do that with my sex or family or career.

But I can finally get a good paint job on an 1960’s Airfix kit, and that’s some serious closure.
