And discover whether it really is super or not…
I have looked with nuclear puzzlement at the cyanoacrylate cement racks in the hobby shop…as well as at the DIY shop. Frequently no idea at all forms in my mind, and I buy whatever is cheapest.
The super-thin sort goes everywhere and into my fingers. The medium sort is harder to work into crevices, but still goes into the digits. The thick stuff? I only have so many fingers…On a bad day it is all I can do to release myself from the workshop bench.
I have a bottle of kicker as well, and appreciate it more than I thought I would. It has saved several biplane wings and landing gear. Now that I have been shown the way to clean up the white residue of the CA joint, I am more venturesome. I still realise that clear parts and CA are anathema.
Now whether the tiny tubes are better value than the big bottles is a moot point. I keep a bottle in the outdoors fridge but if it is solid when I come to use it, I will go back to the smaller quantities.
