The Little World

I am astonished to be writing this – my stash of 1:72 scale model kits is practically gone.

I’m down to three and one gets done in a fortnight. Unless the wholesalers deliver some of the 2026 releases I will be forced to turn my attentions to another genre. Fortunately I have good projects in mind.

This is not to say that there are no more 1:72 scale aircraft in the shops – there are as many Mustspitschmitts as you care to buy. And shelves of unidentifiable ex-Soviet things. But the models one might want are…wanting.

It will be a long dry session until the next big scale model exhibition loads shelves with slight bargains. I hope someone has a stash sale in the meantime.
