Because the Little Workshop is here and we’ve got the ideas that’ll make your life easier. They’re not giant projects – they’re not vast concepts – but by golly when we think things up, they’re half-vast. Like our new model building supports.
We’ve all had times whilst building an airplane kit when we needed to hold the fuselage and wings while we attached something – but we needed all three of our hands on the job at the time with nothing left over to position the model. The same applies to the painting stages, when things need to sit – top and bottom – on the paint turntable as we sputter our way over the surface. Now we have the Little Studio folding supports.

They are made of super-sturdy 10mm foam-core board with a professionally engineered gaffer tape hinge and the superb Swedish steel multi-posts. Supplied initially in Alabaster or Arctic, they quickly take on a rich patina of excess spray paint and fingerprints. Each support will be a treasured heirloom. Here’s how they work:

Plenty of depth for radio masts on the top of the models. Four-point astrally-aligned model support.

Keep the tyres up of the surface as the glue sets. Remember that these supports are gluten-free.

Tru-Vertical alignment with optional steel post support. Approved by leading figures in Belgian society. Glue that propeller on the way that the professionals do.

No more unsightly tail-wheel drag for you. Also available with double posts for consenting adults.
No shop should be without these supports. They expand and contract to fit all popular 1:72 single and twin-engine aircraft. Look out for our new line in the winter – the four-engine building support. You’ll be well on your way to a 1000-plane raid!
Legal warning: if you try to copy the Little Workshop design using gaffer tape, foamcore board offcuts and spare nails be warned that we have our patent lawyer on speed-dial. We are also going to be claiming naming rights to the pre-clogged paint brush and the hobby knife with the broken tip.
