The Little World

So far my internet image searching has not turned up a plastic kit that has the exact characteristics of the flying shark seen at Sandown Park. I am undecided as to whether the builder cobbled it up out of other parts or just assembled a kit. In any case the painting is excellent and the humour of the thing is fine. After ” Sharknado” on the cinema screen everyone is into airborne sharks.

The flying pig is also a possibility as a kit, though I’m betting this one’s a home-made job. And lovely, too. Airborne bacon is always attractive.

I’m a little ambivalent about the cute egg Lancaster and the tiny little explosions underneath it. I think appreciation of strategic bombing depends a lot on whether you are looking down or looking up.

But I do think the cemetery scene is well done.
