Good Morning, Staff.

Good morning. You may be wondering why I have called you here today.

The first thing was to trial the ability of Photoshop to make focus stacking images automatically – a task which it has performed admirably. There are a few errors in the image taken of you but they can be largely overlooked. The Photographic Department of the Air World Museum will do further experiments to see whether it can be a regular feature of museum life.

The second thing is to tell you that you have been selected to take part in the 2020 WAsmex display of the museum’s halls later in the year. To this end you have been supplied with clear acetate bases to which you are fastened with cyanoacrylate cement plus a small dot of PVA. With a bit of luck none of you will lose your bases.

The exhibition will take place in 8 halls and teams of you will be assigned to each portion of the museum. The aircraft exhibits will be secured to the building base with temporary glue dots placed under the tyres and there should be little danger of the planes shifting on their journey to the exhibition hall in the back of the motor car.

You’ll also be given your own sticky dots to allow you to travel and stand on duty with the least effort.

During your time on exhibit I expect you to behave professionally – including the codgers and the teenagers. There will be no sitting down on the job, except for staff members who have been deliberately assigned these positions. During the night time after the visitors to the hall have gone away you may relax and move about, but I expect you to be back on your plinths by 7:00AM.

During the exhibition you will hear a great deal of talk amongst the visitors as they circulate the hall. Because of the disparity in scales between yourselves and some of the amour modeller’s dioramas, you may hear disparaging remarks. Take no notice of this – you are fine figures and have been painted deliberately. You are good value for money and need not envy other HO scale populations; they are far too expensive to hire.

Some of you will be moved to different positions at Wet Dog Regional airport after the WAsmex show and will have a chance to line up for inter-provincial flights. There are also positions available for employment at Canadian Pacific Air Cargo and the airport administration. CP Air Cargo is looking particularly for people with experience driving fork-lift loaders.

Thank you for your attention. Please line up in the cardboard box lid and await your assigned positions.
