The Little World

I keep telling myself I will not do this, and I keep ignoring myself. The Buccaneer for Special Hobby is about to change hands…into the care of the RCAF at Suffield, Alberta for “special duties “. While my meagre internet resources do not yet say what these duties are, I can guess:

1. Beer runs.
2. Large aerial target to reflect radar for calibration.
3. Station hack.
4. Wartime games of ” Tetris ” in the hangar.
5. Punishment details.
6. Paperweight.

I am not fussed. The US Navy decals will be put aside and suitable RCAF roundels looked out. I have two black and white images of the actual plane at the actual air station at the actual time and this is good enough for me.
