The dedicated, single-minded, focused, disciplined modeller will never have this experience. They’ll be home with the paint and brushing it on the model by 1:00 PM. Their shelf will gleam with completed models. Their bank account will have money in it.
You, on the other hand, will own a workshop full of half-completed kits and a Mastercard debt that makes Lesotho look rich. The kits will all be opened and the parts will be melding into one vast sea of styrene. You’ll need never worry about boredom, as you will have hours of entertainment looking for lost wheels.
It is time for an intervention by trained and caring professionals. In your case Crommelins or Cleanaway is likely to be the best bet and ask for the BIG bin. You can also get a pretty good grain shovel in City Farmers to load the piles of parts into the skip. Get it at City Farmers – not Bunnings. You would be in mortal danger in Bunnings…
