Say what you will about super-detail kits and expensive models – you just cannot beat a kit that will go together cleanly with no strain on the components.
Oh, we’ve all had kits where we’ve coped. Where we’ve managed to make one warp counteract another and end up with something that looks like the box art. But when we look at the seam lines they look like snakes instead of ladders. And we cannot escape from the thought that if one little bit of glue weakens the thing is going to explode like a plastic Prince Rupert’s Drop.
But not the Bulldog. All major parts together easily and with minimal seams. There’ll be no filler needed anywhere. There is enough nervousness about the cabane and interplane struts as it is – I welcome a good basic structure.
