Pink or otherwise – sometimes you get things that you just wouldn’t do. I’ve yet to find my limits but to be honest I’ve stopped looking…
The dry-fit stage of the Heinkel promised to be a time of tears and gnashing of teeth. I’d seen what old Airfix moulds could do when stored in hobby shops. However, the trial of the interior and of the wing roots was a pleasant surprise.

The fit in both cases was as good as I could wish for the scale and well within my capacity to repair. If there is little detail on the flight deck, at least the basic structure that makes it up has a place to cement to and the fuselage closes easily. I’ve paid far more money for far worse fit.
