Hillson Praga Air Baby – Part One – So Niche

Okay. Beats Me. Who in Prague has ever heard of Australia?

Well, someone did. They sent out three of these little light planes before WW2 – probably because they had a manufacturing deal going with Manchester.

The kit is on two sprue trees – one clear and one silvered.

A tiny rime of flash but no ejection pillars. And a good clean dry fit will likely be the case.

The instructions are commendably coloured and laid out – I think I can trust these guys. Fortunately there is also a good summary of the real machines on the net so I can feel confident following the VH-UXR scheme in blue and natural plywood.

The registration lettering is on clear film but I think I’ll trim the panels a little to cut down on the risks of them folding under.
