I quite approve of the level of detail on the Chrysler engine – enough to look interesting without asking for insane complication.
The wheels are rewarding. The white sidewalls are a stiff insert but once in are perfectly acceptable. The hubcaps have been touched up with that marvel of modern modelling; the Molotow pen.

The frame is straight and all the components of the drive train fit and connect amicably. But the front axle’s connection to the steering wheel and the knuckles is anything but square. The tyres point in two separate directions and at varying angles. Photography of the finished model will need to be undertaken carefully.

Ah, well, at least the fenders may fit…
