1932 Chrysler – Part Five – Gangbusters?

Well, that was what it was touted as…and had I chosen to build the motorcycle, the G-Men, and the safe, it would have busted something.

But this is a far more dignified Chrysler. I freely confess I have always liked Chrysler products, but with the exception of a Dodge and a Valiant in the 60’s I’ve never gotten to drive many. A big Chrysler 300 would be my dream car right now, if I were foolish enough to have motoring dreams.

This is not as shiny as it might be – there is no polish on the final paintwork. And the geometry of the steering section is pretty suspect – but otherwise it has worked out well. It looks expensive and will form a good prop of a live model to pose against.

  1. The steering geometry on the old Chryslers was known to be “interesting”. You’ve built the kit nicely.
