Like a pink fit, but more gentlemanly.

You can clip a Hobby Boss kit together at nearly any stage of the build. I’d painted the wheel wells on the F-16 prior to trying the ordnance onto it and was curious to see whether there would be much filling and sanding needed. None at all if you weren’t being prissy about it.

I did deal with a few slightly open panel lines but it was a matter of about 2 minutes.

Then onto undercoat ( grey ) main colour coat ( grey ) and contrasting patches ( grey ). It was a pleasure to add gloss and then the decals…grey.

Not the sort of model you want to do on a rainy week in Wigan.
