Those of you who have accused me of being a cheapskate are wrong – dead wrong. I’ll have you know I spent $ 2.00 for this kit and I did not even cry out in pain as I paid. I winced, but it was silent.
The box was in a parcel left for sale at our club rooms and the price was set by the other members. The box was agricultural and there was no instruction sheet, but the decals looked viable and the sprue trees seemed to be there. And apparently Revell is a well-known brand…

The sprue trees have as much flash as one would expect of a 1960’s kit. Quite a few small parts and most of them well-moulded. The standard Revell WW1 pilot – a versatile chap to say the least. He seems to have flown for the Russians, the French, and the Germans.
There seem to be pre-marked points for rigging, so I’ll need to google up a diagram to see if I can do it. I’ll also need to find the rubber string in the hobby shop.
At least I need not agonise over cabanes and interplane struts with this one. Those woes will come to me with my birthday presents – several of which are biplanes.
