Polish Tankette – Part Five – Not Gone Mad Yet

In fact, I’m having the time of my life. The IBG model tank is fitting together like a watch. A Polish watch, mind, but Warsaw is in the same time zone as Lucerne…

The fit of the hull parts is exemplary. So much so, that I can dry-fit the hatches for painting with the view to cementing them open later showing the correct colour camouflage pattern on the outer tin. Thus you see the parts set into their position and taped in place – ready for the brush in a week.

I do not propose to court insanity by yielding to the temptation that the makers have enclosed with the PE package – there is a string of ammunition and clips for the Hotchkiss gun. It is incredibly small and would make more headaches than a quart of ice cream.

Pass.
