Imagine my joy when I looked more closely at my $ 1.00 tankette and discovered it was and up-gunned variant of the previous model.
The hull parts are commendably well-fitting, though the suspension and side members are a little fiddly to assemble. I am new to 1:35 armour and I am starting to suspect that this will be a common feature of these things. If course, as military vehicles go, these Polish designs are about the size of a handkerchief ( but not as heavily armoured… ) so it may not be such an issue in later British or American vehicles.

I am not looking forward to the track construction – the rubber ones seem so simplistic that I think I will be forced to choose the injected styrene parts. These, however, need to be put on after their suspensions are cemented to the hull. so access for cementation and painting will be an issue.

Fortunately language is inexpensive and I have some very cheap words ready if need be.
