I suspect you will also be flailing about trying to pin it down exactly. Like PRU Blue, Russian Green, and Zinc Chromate, there will be as many shades of Black Green as there are paint manufacturers and club anoraks.

I concocted my own, using black and green: it seemed the best way to start. I was tempted to put in some pearlescent candy apple gloss but the stuff had dried in the jar.

The kit has a good decal sheet for the main markings, but no tail colours. These were painted on after the main coat was secure. There will be further detailing after the decals are on for the wing-mounted oil cooler and then a final satin overcoat.
