Like my luck, it never seems to strike twice in the same place…
Fortunately, this AGA kit has proved to be good luck and has come out far better than might have been expected upon opening the sad old box.

The assembly of the wings was easier than many biplanes have been – I made temporary foam jigs for the main struts and matched them to the hole in the upper wing. AGA were accurate in their positions for these features and the ends of the struts literally popped in place.

The landing gear was also easy, though you did need to tack things at first with cyanoacrylate glue and Zipkicker and then re-enforce with PVA. Best tyres and wheels I’ve seen in a long time.

The decals were re-enforced with clear varnish before soaking – I just do not trust anything printed east of the Oder. They have silvered slightly, but haven’t broken up.

Overall, I am delighted and at the frugal kit price, I am ecstatic.
