Hah. Fooled ya. There are no unwritten rules.
They were going to make some but with the months it took to produce the written ones, time just got away. The sub-committee for underwater vehicles took a very long time to surface and there were real fears.
As it is, the printing costs for the rulebook classifications for the competition have gotten a bit out of hand. The firm that was doing them says their main press broke down on page 134,866 and they are waiting for parts. Apparently the Gutenberg Printing Press Company is hard to locate lately. Entrants into the competition may have to use the previous rulebook – two stone tablets.
Still, it is good to get these things straightened out before the gunfire commences. Scale modellers take their amusements seriously and a little bit of guidance goes a long way. The 2024 Rod Of Iron has been delivered from the blacksmith and morale is sure to rise as soon as it is employed.
And a note about the awards ceremony. We have footage from the security cameras taken at last year’s event and have noted those spectators who have tried to sneak off early…as well as those who did not applaud long enough for the committee. They will be held in a special compound at this year’s event and given one more chance to behave correctly.
