It’s a new mould.
But don’t relax too far. I looked at the sprue trees and found patches of flash and surprisingly large ejector pins. Fortunately the latter are mostly in areas that are hidden. Still, I don’t trust a couple and will burr them off before trying to join the wings.

The kit features new instructions with the colour coding to mark your progress – and as there are two crewmen, they have the little Airfix Easter egg of featuring employee’s faces. Perhaps one day Airfix will show who they are on their website.

The choice of colours and markings are, of course, Luftwaffe. I was kindly given a portion of an Xtradecal sheet by another club modeller, so mine will become a plane that was captured by the Yugoslavs in 1945. Mostly RLM colours and some grey patches used to obscure LW unit markings. I’ve used Xtradecals before and they were really excellent.
