If there is one thing that defines the Westland Lysander, whether in RAF or RCAF service, it is the landing gear.
Lynx paws, I call them, with enough space inside them to hold two machine guns and two landing lights. The rest of the aircraft might have the design of a cement mixer, but the landing gear was streamline moderne.

The aircraft I am portraying has the inner and outer covers removed – possibly for ease of maintenance at a training base. Full praise to Dora Models for moulding the alternatives that make this easy.

Note that this is one of the tougher models to make due to the highly visible internal tube and frame structure – like an Avro Anson, there is a lot of metal inside the clear windows.
