Fun For The Whole Family

A scale modeller who runs out of kits need never be dismayed – as long as they have their family.

a. The family are a soft touch. All you need to do is mope about the house complaining that you don’t have anything to do. After a day of this they will empty their purses and piggy banks to buy you a kit and shove it, and you, into the shed.

b. Holidays are coming and you need a present. The shops are open. Make sure they understand this. Post-It notes on their dinner plates will spark interest.

c. As a last resort, spare children or nieces and nephews can be sold to get money for kits. Note that children may have sentimental value but ALL nieces and nephews can be considered for trade.

d. If the family are sleeping you can decal them. Make up some stickers that look like pimples or festering lesions and apply them to their dear little cheeks and foreheads. Morning and the bathroom mirror will bring a festival of fun.
