The Little World

You are not your stash – any more than you are your collection of CDs or your underwear and socks.

You may indeed possess many kits, and CDs, and socks and jocks, but they do not represent your skills, thoughts, or achievements. At best they are potential things.

And just as you cannot wear all your underwear at the same time, you cannot listen to all your CDs or build all your kits at once. At best you can enjoy them as a serial effort – and here is where the numbers are either for or against you. You may build 8 kits eventually – you cannot build 800.

Be realistic, even when fantasising. Apportion your funds and your time sensibly so that you are wasting neither.
