The Most Important Part Of The Build

Is not during or after – it is before…

You fancy doing a bit of modelling – you get up, wash, dress, and proceed to the hobby shop. This may be a building or a website, but you go there – it doesn’t come to you.

If you walk in there with nothing in your mind you are a fair way to walking out in the same condition – only this time you’ll have paid $ 59,95 for it and will be lugging a cardboard box that rattles. It may never be anything more than that to you – but it could have been a great triumph if you had put some thought into it beforehand:

a. What do you like?

b. what have you not built yet?

c. How much space will you have to display it?

d. How much spare time will you have to do the modelling?

e. How much money do you really have spare?

If you have been honest with yourself you can form an idea of what you want. If the shop has it, the green light goes on. If the shop doesn’t, you have to decide whether to switch tracks or just go home again.

Your choice – your character.
