I just did that to gee up the Pommie Pedants who will insist that there should never be two spellings of the colour…or the color…
The helicopter is surprisingly handsome for something that hangs its engines out on stalks and puts rubbish bins in front of them. I could have asked Italeri to mould the mountings for these protective covers with more grip but eventually they stuck on.

The rotors were superb and have gone together perfectly. The size of the main is a problem for model stowage so I may attempt a folded-blade model of a helicopter sometime in the future – i believe Airfix may provide this option for one of their British types.
One of the joys of this kit is that it is not a tail-sitter – and no lead weights needed. The mine-sled and doors are a little problematical but nothing that some discrete trimming cannot fix.

And the decals? Well they went onto a gloss varnish and did not silver at all. Vallejo semi-matt to seal them in.
Sorry I did not have any pictures to show you – I had to go get old ones from the Navy…
