I am prepared to defend my choice of blue-green for the interior of this aircraft for hours.

Provided you bring the drinks. I sourced the shade from an internet image of Czech Mil 24 that they had handed over to the Ukrainian Air Force. It was remarkably clean in the picture but the interior here is so obscure that it really doesn’t matter. I note that the troops in the back have a rudimentary bench seat with seatbelts as well as room for cargo.
The troop doors were cemented into the fuselage sides when I got the kit, but not square. I cut them out and repositioned them. Were I ever to build another I think I would show them open as they are rather unique – clam-shelling up and down.

The cockpit has all the gorgeous Soviet green colours and a surprising amount of tiny detail.
And wonder of eastern wonders! When you cement the cargo compartment and the cockpit onto the only two rails provided for them, the whole thing closes up with minimal trouble. It almost makes up for the mis-direction about the engine exhausts. Fortunately the internet and sheer logic sorted that out before it became a mess.
