It turned out nice again, eh?

I was very pleased with the result of my Hobby Boss Mi-2t Hoplite helicopter kit. I couldn’t have asked for a better fit on the parts and I’m pleased to say that the masking experiment has resulted in some of the best windows and frame lines so far.

The colour scheme is one of the pre-war Ukrainian Air Force repaints from the Soviet era. I think HB were very clever to include the UkrAF roundels in the kit, though they were a bit cagey and did not show them on the colour call-out. Perhaps they did not want to rile up the plastic Putins over their border.

I wasn’t able to take my normal pictures of this helicopter so I hope some old ones I found in a shoe box will do.
