Well, joking aside, I am pleased to see that Italeri take the thing seriously. The rotors on their helicopters are always moulded with attention to detail and a practical amount of material. Here’s the rear rotor hub with the moulded control rods pushing up from the collector. Far more detail and far better construction than the recent Amodel experience.

I am also grateful that the designers of the kit were able to put in a practicable rotation system for the rotor that could be assembled and glued without stopping the thing from turning. It will make photography much easier and more varied.
