Well, that decided it. The interior of the Caudron C-445 shows it to be an officer’s toy – not a hospital transport.
There are six seats in it – two for the pilots, one for the radio operator in the front. One for the secretary and one for the aide de camp in the back. And one for le Maréchal. So the livery will be 1940 aluminium all over.
The interior tray and fitments of this RS kit are first-rate without being fussy. No PE to curse and the barest amount of resin that could be got away with. The windows are clear, and praise be, have gone into their positions without fogging.
There is even hope for the location of the tray – there are three ledges on the fuselage walls and they look as though they will correspond to the shape of the floor. Whether the port side and the starboard side align is another matter, but I’ll cross that pont when I come to it.

Note the engine nacelles on the wings are filler-free. Commendable.
