I have to keep reminding myself that I am basically playing with a dollar coin here.
The kit is progressing well, with a club day spent making wheel and tyre assemblies and getting the running gear on the chassis. The top casing fits down with perfect precision, so it can be finished separately from the support structure.

The tyres are knobbly and rubber – I have no idea how they will last on display. But the wheels are precise enough to need easing when you join the rims. I doubt the axles, however, as they are too far into scale fineness to give much support. That may also be the case with the towing hooks and lamp irons.
