This is a hobby, you know. No time to sit there enjoying yourself. if you don’t speed up you’ll fall behind the others – the other modellers who are speeding up. Then where will you be?

You’ll be sitting there with a half-completed model while they are out buying more Their hobby score will go up while yours just dawdles. what will people think of you? Eh?

Change to rapid-dry paints and hit ’em with a heat gun to speed their curing. Use cyanoacrylates with a zip-kicker to fasten things together. No time for cement to evaporate – get moving.

Stop ordering the after-market parts. It takes days for them to arrive and then you’ll be wasting valuable minutes sawing the resin parts off their blocks or bending the PE. If out of the box was good enough for 1959 it is good enough now.

Why are you breathing so slowly? Get that heart rate up. If you want to be a plastic modeller you’re going to have to suffer.

It’s all about doing the hard millimetres.
