A good question – this old Esci baggie was sitting forlorn and unbuilt – and likely to be touched for many a year until the Kit Whisperer found it.
I will be frank – I deliberately seek out the most modest of kits to build. The $ 500 aircraft carrier is not for me – I quail at $ 100 tanks. But I will happily resurrect $ 2.00 junk found at op shops. The humble calling to the humble, I guess.

This basic kit reminds me of another maker’s offerings – the simplicity of it suggests Revell 60’s baggies. Or their current boxed baggies at 43 x the original 1960’s price. Needless to say I would never patronise the Revell shelf when this sort of thing is available.
The struts are frightening and the wheels will need more surgery than a Kardashian, but the basic fit of the fuselage and the lower wing are quite decent. Even the Lewis gun shows some fine modelling.
