If You Made Models Of Dead Cows

Someone, somewhere, would buy them.

A disturbing set of questions would revolve about what scale to make and who to aim it at. I am guessing 1:24 or 1:35 and the car or armour markets respectively.

The diorama that would be built using the models would reveal a lot about the modeller. It would not be too long before aftermarket PE and resin or 3D parts would appear beside the basic carcasses. Eventually someone would sell a battery-powered vulture that would circle overhead and you could get plastic packets of extremely tiny blowflies.

In the pressure of the modelling trade it would still be left up to the scratch-builder to make models of derelict factories, run-down state homes, and boarded-up shops. Again, someone, somewhere, owns the world’s most depressing railway layout or dollhouse and only shows it to selected friends.

Note: I have a 1:12 scale saloon and cathouse that I built for a photo shoot. Don’t judge me.
