A tight fit.
The Azur model of the Potez 63-11 is probably fairly old in the Czech modelling world. I think the firm that makes these models has retired the name in favour of their ” Special Hobby ” marque. This one is from the multi-media days of styrene/resin/brass. So far the fit of the component parts is superb.

This is always a nervous point for the 1:72 builder – the firms that do resin cockpits sometimes do them oversize and stick you with the problem of finding enough space in the fuselage to cram in the tub. In this case we also have an observer’s seat and compartment in the glass nose. It really is the raison d’etre for the entire design and means the pilot is sitting up on the top like a pimple on a pumpkin.

In this case no fettling or sanding was needed to find a fit for both components. Being resin, of course, they’ll need fixing with CA glue but this won’t show. The fuselage halves are nearly perfect.
I am almost tempted to think the wings and tail will also join well. No seams seem to show at the dry-fit stage.
I may have to revise my opinion of Czech short-run technique.
