When I saw the flash flooding around some of the Revell parts for this jet fighter I though that I was in for an epic of cutting and sanding.
As it is, there has been little fettling needed and by the time it has progressed from dry fit to cementation, no filler gaps are to be seen. Only the very slightest of adjustment has been needed at the fuselage seam.
Even the lead weight for the nose was easy to put in – there is an enormous amount of open space in the front of the aircraft.

I expect it will be ready for undercoating by tomorrow – already the wheels and landing gear are painted on their sprue trees. One forgets how simple early jets were. Almost a Meteoric build…
