Finnish Brewster Buffalo – Part Two – All In A Day’s Play

I have given up days of work. Now I slave away at a hobby… it is much more trouble…

And I should not have it otherwise. I can remember employment and practice and professional education and have no desire whatsoever to go back and re-commence them. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t…

But working at the club or the home workbench? Let me at it. The kit was trimmed and set together at the SMCWA club – a lick of USAAF Interior Green and some silver inside the cockpit. Then home for the afternoon.

No filler. Hobby Boss’s kid’s kits need no filler. They FIT. Spread this information around the break room at the Czech-Model-Almost-Right factory and see who blushes. Slope off, Pavel, and see if you can get it right next time…

The canopy is glued down and masking fluid is wiped on. A bow pen is fine if there are no frames, but here the moulder has been precise and clever. We will see if it makes for a good result.

And the camouflage masking? Artist’s gum rubber in rolls. Masking fluid. Masking tape. if you can stand the appearance of the thing as you work, the result will be good.

Be resolute.
