Okay, Chase Me Around The Room With A Fire Axe

But listen to the idea first…

Perth displays need a place to shine. Whether they are toy train shows, jewellery shows, or chicken butchering shows, they all need a good place to be seen. Currently the places that will host them are drafty, cold, ill-lit, and expensive. There is no support for displays that is convenient, and the shows show it.

Build a display PALACE. Put stages in, and theatres, and booths in display halls. Light these well. provide power in abundance, and give them safety barriers if needed.

Put on good sound, and good lighting techs if needed. provide easy access and cheap parking. And do it at a lower pressure than that maintained by the Showgrounds or the Exhibition Centre. Do not soak either the exhibitors or the patrons.

Perhaps an industrial structure on urban farmland? or a disused industrial site?

Would we patronise it? Yes. Would it work every weekend? Yes.
