Or should that be confusediousness? English is sometimes so inadequate…
The Roden people are nothing if not determined. – possibly to drive me blind or mad. They have moulded many tiny parts so that I can assemble them into slightly larger parts. These can then be lost down the back of the workbench. No modeller need ever suffer low blood pressure.

However, they can be recovered and taped inside the kit box before they break loose again and eventually when they are cemented into place one can go looking for strong drink.
Note that the Curtiss design allows the waist guns to be stored inboard with covers slid over their firing portals. I’ve elected to mount them inside but leave the covers open to show off. Likewise, the open cockpit will let the pilot’s seats and wheels be seen.

The other item of note at this stage is just how impossibly long the wingspan is in comparison with the hull. One thinks it an error, but photos prove otherwise. Whether the wings will sag is another question – if they do the whole aircraft may need to be mounted on a fake water base.
