Do not despair.

Do not allow kit makers to sell you unhappiness. If they have decided that you need to model the rivets on the underside of the toilet seat in the 1/144 scale airliner, consider your own opinion before theirs. They may very well be making fools of themselves and you at the same time – you need not play along.

I have tried the game in a number of ways; putting on every resin and PE part that the instructions sheet demands, and leaving off the bits that are neither necessary nor seen. The scale model result looked very much the same on the display shelf, but the face that stared out of the bathroom mirror was markedly different.

Happiness is sometimes a warm puppy and sometimes a box full of aftermarket parts thrown in the bin…
