Become One With The Modelverse.

A new contest is about to be announced by the BGA for scale modellers who wish to become legends, icons, or be included in the Hall Of Famousosity.

The 2025 Greta awards are going to be for the best scale model made with traditional materials by modellers who are attuned to the vibrations of the Universe. No plastics will be allowed, and even the use of the word ” styrene ” will be banned within the exhibition hall.

Only traditional materials like sand, balsa wood, and off-cuts from milk cartons will be permitted and participants must be prepared to acknowledge traditional owners of the hobby shops where they are bought. No paints derived from animal products will be allowed. Unless they are Socialist animals.

Military subjects are banned unless they are approved by the Central Committee Of People’s Ideals and ” Certain People ” need not apply. They know who they are…

Points will be awarded for the use of jackknives and glass paper, and anyone who has used original plans from Model Maker or Das Kapital will be advanced to the first semi-finals.
