The Little World

The Box of Possibilities.

This box contained two aircraft – I suspect it is the residue of a failed project from someone unknown. Abandoned in the club storeroom, it fell to me after a grand clean-out. This is no new sensation – it often happens here at home when the wife or daughter decide to have a spring clean and I benefit.

The box has one kit almost built and one just parts. Some parts are missing and will need to be copy-moulded.

The prototypes were so unusual – although quite real – that I shall undertake the project. Fortunately there were two real aircraft; ” Grey Ghost ” and ” Spider “.

I found two decal sheets as well as instruction sheets – obviously the previous owner bought two kits at the time – and there are internet images to guide me. Something will be cobbled together; I am taken with one image of the two in formation over the desert. Perhaps a double mount…

The aircraft are large and will make a good contrast to the others on the 1/144th shelf.
