My decision to paint the Ural starter truck in yellow-orange was initially based on a picture from Taganrog in Russia.

As it is, this truck will be on the hardstand at Wet Dog Regional so the winter yellow is perfectly appropriate. The aircraft at Wet Dog are exposed to cold just as intense and Russia and need a boost to get their engines turned over.

The cables from the power unit to the aircraft are not attached yet – they would just make a mess in the storage box – time enough to hook them up on the arms when a diorama is constructed.

Now for a modern re-fueller – I hope Hobby Boss or one of the short-run firms can crank one out. The old Thompson tricycle tank is fine for earlier periods but they are all in museums now.
