Good Table

It really does make a difference at an exhibition if you set your goods out on a table that attracts the passing eye. Many wonderful modelling efforts could be lost to pblic attention by sitting on a dull surface.

Let’s face it – most of our models are destined to be seen from above -the average viewer being taller than he tabletop. They see a lot of surface, and if, like the IPMS club you choose a bright cover, you will get the punters to stop and look.

I suggested to a Western Front member that they should block-print some lozenge camouflage tablecloths for their stands…but that might be more effective in camouflaging their work than showing it.

IPMS are fortunate in having a strong orange as a corporate colour. If you plan to show, consider something equally striking for your table. A dazzle pattern for naval models might get you bumped into, but…
