A wonderful display…
I was particularly impressed at the WASMex 2026 with a display of German military models at the side of the hall. These were in the regular section – not the competition.
I believe they were brought in from some distance and I can admire the modeller’s enthusiasm and completeness.
Rumour had it that the display was meant to be set out a little differently, but the floor plan of the hall compelled it to be doubled in depth – not length.
I have never seen so many small vignettes in a display – truly something for the eye to see everywhere. Almost too much to take in with one visit – I made several through the weekend.
I think this one would benefit from being displayed for a longer period of time -under glass or plastic protection – and with good dramatic lighting.
